PENGARUH KEBIJAKAN LARANGAN IMPOR BARANG BEKAS TERHADAP PERSEPSI PENDAPATAN PEDAGANG DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM STUDI KASUS DI PASAR JONGKOK KOTA TEMBILAHAN KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the import ban policy on second-hand goods on traders’ income perceptions and to examine this policy from the perspective of Islamic economics. This research employed a quantitative method with purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 53 traders actively engaged in selling imported second-hand goods. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using SPSS 25. The analytical method used was simple linear regression. Based on the test results, the regression equation obtained was “Y = 27.624 – 0.275 (Import Ban Policy) + e.” The t-test results showed tcount -9.962 < ttable 1.674 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the import ban policy has a negative effect on traders’ income. The coefficient of determination shows that the influence of the policy on income perceptions was 66.1%, while the remaining 33.9% is affected by other variables not included in this study. The policy needs to be reviewed from the perspective of maqashid sharia, particularly the principles of justice (al-‘adl), public interest (maslahah), state social responsibility (hisbah), and protection of wealth (hifz al-mal). Although the import ban can be justified for the sake of public interest, its implementation should uphold justice so as not to burden small traders. Therefore, a more balanced and responsive policy is required to address the real conditions of small-scale businesses.
