Instructions for Authors
Thank you for considering Indragiri Law Review (ILR) as the platform to publish your research. Please carefully read and follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure that your manuscript meets our submission requirements.
1. General Information:
- Indragiri Law Review (ILR) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal published by the Postgraduate Program of Law at the Islamic University of Indragiri.
- ILR welcomes submissions of original research articles, theoretical discussions, and practical insights related to various fields of law.
- Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English and should adhere to the journal's formatting guidelines.
2. Manuscript Submission:
- Authors should submit their manuscripts electronically through the online submission system available on the ILR website.
- The submission should include a cover letter, author information (name, affiliation, contact details), an abstract, keywords, and the main manuscript document.
- The manuscript should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and prepared according to the ILR template.
3. Manuscript Preparation:
- Manuscripts should follow a clear and concise structure, including an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.
- Citations and references should follow the ILR citation style, which is based on the APA (American Psychological Association) style. A guide on citation formatting can be found on the ILR website.
4. Peer Review Process:
- All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high quality and academic integrity.
- The review process is anonymous and involves a double-blind review, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
- The review period may vary, and authors will be informed of the outcome (acceptance, revision, or rejection) in a timely manner.
5. Publication Ethics:
- Authors are expected to adhere to high ethical standards in their research and writing.
- Plagiarism, fabrication of data, and other forms of unethical behavior are strictly prohibited.
- Authors should ensure that their work has not been previously published or submitted to other journals simultaneously.
6. Article Processing Charges (APC):
- ILR requires the payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC) for each accepted manuscript.
- The current APC is 250,000 Indonesian Rupiah or 25 USD.
- Detailed instructions for the APC payment will be provided to authors upon acceptance.
7. Copyright and Licensing:
- Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement, granting ILR the right to publish and distribute the manuscript.
- ILR publishes articles under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
